Morning and afternoon game drives to view wildlife against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. The park offers a wide variety of wildlife but the principal attraction is its vast herds of elephant within the park. The bull elephants here have some of the largest tusks in Kenya. Other game includes: zebra, wildebeest, giraffes, impalas, leopards, caracals and serval cat species. The park boasts a rich bird life such as ibis, egrets, avocets, common and saddle-billed storks, secretary birds, herons, vultures, ducks, and geese.

After breakfast drive to the border post of Namanga where you will clear the immigration formalities, and drive to Arusha for lunch.
Continue through the Ngorongoro Highlands to your lodge situated on the rim of the crater. The crater covers over 250 square kilometres (over 100 square miles) of land and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephants, cheetahs, great herds of buffalo, antelopes, and wildebeest.

Today you will descend 600m (0ver 2000 feet) to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour with picnic lunch.
