Detailed Trip Description
Many travelers to Africa want to see the real wilderness of the bush and plain. This ideal safari features the whole range of Kenya’s and Tanzania’s natural beauty and wildlife. Starting with a unique treehotel experience, you continue through The Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha for some best bird watching in Kenya. Continue to the Masai Mara. Cross over to Serengeti, the breathtaking Ngorongoro and finally Lake Manyara before returning to Nairobi for the last night.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi
Welcome to Nairobi.
Airport Transfer
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, after disembarking from the aircraft, you clear customs and immigration formalities. You will be met and assisted by a representative that will help you transfer to your Nairobi Hotel which is situated within the city center.
Relaxation
The day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Kenya
Treehotel (Mt Kenya region).
Safari
Drive via lush Kikuyuland to your all night game viewing lodge. From the balcony of the lodge you can see game coming to drink from the flood-lit waterhole.

Day 3 - Kenya
Lake Naivasha.
National Parks
Breakfast at your lodge. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive. Lunch at a lodge in the park. Continue to Lake Naivasha – the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes. This area is famous for its birdlife – a breeding ground for pelicans, fish, eagles, cormorants, and more. You will also find other animals such as hippos, zebras, antelopes, and colobus monkeys.

Day 4 - Kenya
Masai Mara.
Safari
Traverse the Rift Valley and ascend its western rim into the Masai land. Red-clad, with spear Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Afternoon game drive in search of wildlife.

Day 5 - Kenya

Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. The most spectacular feature is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles from the plains of Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara’s grasslands. They are tracked by predator such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and circled by vultures as the journey unfolds. Apart from the seasonal migration, game viewing is excellent year round. Game includes: elephants, Black Rhinos, buffalos, wildebeest, Burchell’s zebras, hartebeest, various antelopes, gazelles, lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, and much more.

Day 6 - Kenya
Serengeti.
Private Car Service
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch to Isebania border where you will clear customs and board the Tanzanian Vehicles.
National Parks
Drive to your lodge situated in the Serengeti National Park with a game drive enroute. This enormous park supports every variety of animal imaginable - from large predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah to the smaller herbivores they prey on.

Day 7 - Kenya
Serengeti.
National Parks
Breakfast at your lodge. Morning and afternoon game drives. More than two million wildebeest, Thompson’s gazelles, and zebras gather during the migration, attracting a great deal of attention from their predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards.

Day 8 - Kenya
Ngorongoro.
Safari
After breakfast drive to drive to Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Continue to your lodge situated on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater. The crater covers over 250 square kilometres (over 100 square miles) of land and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of buffalo, antelope and wildebeest.

Day 9 - Kenya
Ngorongoro.
Food and Dining
Today you will descend 600m (0ver 2000 feet) to the floor of the crater for a full day crater tour with picnic lunch.
Sightseeing
Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkey and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.

Day 10 - Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara.
Safari
Breakfast at your lodge. Drive to Lake Manyara famous for its prolific bird-life and other inhabitants such as hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions Lunch at your lodge. This afternoon you will drive down for a game drive.

Day 11 - Nairobi
Arusha-Nairobi.
Food and Dining
After breakfast drive to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch at Impala Hotel.
Private Car Service
Transfer to Namanga border where you clear customs and board the Kenyan vehicles and drive to Nairobi.

Day 12 - Nairobi
Airport Transfer
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
