Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Jerusalem

 
Jerusalem-Petra.
Bus

Morning transfer from Jerusalem to the Allenby Bridge; enter the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Drive to Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land.

Sightseeing

Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Continue to Madaba, Byzantine center of master mosaicists; see the oldest surviving mosaic map of the Holy Land.

Sightseeing

Then, after lunch, visit the dramatic Crusader castle of Kerak, a maze of stone-vaulted halls and endless passageways. Arrive in Petra, built by the Nabateans over 2000 years ago.

Day 2 - Amman

 
Petra-Amman.
Sightseeing

A most unforgettable day! Your guide will take you on a private tour into the "rose-red" city of Petra (by horseback and foot) which begins at the Siq, a winding canyon road. At the end of the passage you'll see Petra's most beautiful monument - the Treasury - carved out of the solid rock from the side of the mountain. Beyond the Treasury, you'll discover soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a theatre, burial chambers and water channels.

After lunch in Petra, drive north to Amman; check into your hotel.

Tonight, Dinner "Middle-Eastern style" at a Folkloric Village.

Day 3 - Amman

 
Amman-En Route.
Sightseeing

Morning panoramic tour of Amman. Continue to Jerash, one of the world's best preserved Greco-Roman cities with its colonnaded Cardo, Theatre, Temple of Zeus and Artemis Temple complex.

Bus

After lunch, depart Jerash. Continue to the Allenby Bridge for re-entry into Israel; you'll be met and transferred to Jerusalem.
