Detailed Trip Description

Enjoy a spice tour in the rural areas that grow cloves and other spices. You will tour Stone Town which shows evidence of a rich cultural heritage where Arab, Indian, Persian, and European influence blend with local African tradition. Further you will enjoy sightseeing among historic buildings with curved wooden doors, shaded by balconies and verandas lining the narrow winding streets. Also discover the renowned sea shores of Zanzibar Island.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Zanzibar

 
Commercial Flight

Depart your hotel in the early morning for Moi Airport where you catch a flight to Zanzibar. Total air time is one hour.

Hotel

You will be met and escorted to a beach hotel (Tembo hotel) on the island where you will have lunch and check in.

Sightseeing

In the afternoon take a spice tour in the rural areas that grow cloves and other spices,. You will tour Stone Town with its rich cultural heritage where Arab, Indian, Persian, and European influence blends with local African tradition.

Sightseeing

You will enjoy sightseeing among historical buildings with curved wooden doors, shaded by balconies and verandas which line the narrow and winding streets.

All-Inclusive Resort

You will be driven to Zanzibar Beach Resort on the shores of Zanzibar Island for dinner and overnight.


Day 2 - Zanzibar

 
Beach

After breakfast you will spend the day at your leisure or you could privately book one of the many day trips on the island.

Day 3 - Mombasa

 
Airport Transfer

Early morning breakfast then leave for Zanzibar airport to catch flight back to Mombasa.
