Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - On the Plane

Excitement mounts as you fly toward the African continent, to begin your safari adventure.


Day 2 - Cape Town

 
Airport Transfer

Arrive into Cape Town – a gorgeous testament to the country’s colorful history and cosmopolitan style.

Day 3 - Cape Town

 
Sightseeing

A private car and driver is at your service, for a visit to the famous Cape of Good Hope, poised at the tip of the continent. Your full day touring includes breathtaking scenery and a stroll through the lush Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Food and Dining

This evening enjoy dinner in a South African home, where you savor local cuisine and warm hospitality. (B,D)


Day 4 - Cape Town

 
Sightseeing

Today’s drive leads through the winelands area, with its lovely historic homesteads, sprawling vineyards and the quaint tree-lined village streets.

Enjoy a delectable lunch, and sip fine wines as you drink in the astonishingly beautiful countryside that produces Africa’s finest wines. (B,L)

Day 6 - Phinda

 
Cape Town - Phinda Game Reserve.

Your flight, via Johannesburg, takes you across the country to Phinda Private Reserve, a luxurious lodge within a diverse and rich ecosystem.

Day 7 - Phinda

Day 8 - Phinda

 
Phinda - Kruger Private Game Reserve.

A morning game drive and brunch, then wing northward to famed Kruger Park, hosting South Africa’s largest population of wildlife – including the Big Five.

Day 11 - Victoria Falls

This morning visit the thundering Falls, and enjoy a guided tour along its scenic rim, and adjacent rainforest.

River, Barge or Yacht Cruise

Continue further up river this evening and board a pontoon for a lovely ‘sundowner’ cruise on the mighty Zambezi.

Performing Arts

A Boma dinner completes the day, as you feast on local delicacies while being entertained by local singers and dancers. (B,D)


Day 12 - Victoria Falls

 
Victoria Falls - Botswana.
Safari

Leave city life behind this morning, traveling over the border into Botswana, one of Africa’s best-kept secrets. Transfer to your small bush plane, which soars over the game-rich fields to your exclusive safari camp. (B,L,D)

Day 13-14 - Botswana

Exciting game drives, guided wildlife walks through the bush, or mokoro (canoe) rides through the mysterious delta waterways. The choice is yours, as there are three ‘sister camps’ on your safari ‘menu’. Each boasts an intimate wildlife experience, yet all three offer diverse ecosystems, with special flora and fauna species. (B,L,D)


Day 15 - Johannesburg

 
Botswana - Johannesburg.
Shopping

Your safari draws to a close as you return to Johannesburg for a final night. Last chance for shopping, and savoring the sights and sounds of Africa! (B)
