Detailed Trip Description

While its true that to get most Safari lodges in Botswana, you have to fly in on a small plane, in South Africa it is different; a private flight in is different. Here the pilot is your guide, or he will hire a local guide. You move at a different pace, stay at different lodges for the most part, and get to see more of the remote destinations. Its more personal, slower, intimate,and focussed on your desires. Each aspect of the Safari experience has its place. Free as a bird for nine days, taking in Botswana’s prime, contrasting destinations, from the Okavango Delta, Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, Chobe National Park and the Kalahari Desert. Independent air charter allows aerial views of the changing landscape as well as easy connections.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - 2 - Maun

 
Chartered Flights

Arrive in Maun. Air charter to Chitabe Camp in a private reserve banking the Okavango Delta.


Day 3 - 4 - Botswana

 
Linyanti Wildlife Reserve.
Chartered Flights

Fly to King’s Pool Camp, Linyanti Wildlife Reserve.


Day 5 - 6 - Chobe

 
Chobe National Park.
Chartered Flights

Fly to Kasane Airport.

Private Car Services

Road transfer to Muchenje Safari Lodge, bordering Chobe National Park.


Day 7 - 8 - Botswana

 
National Parks

Fly to Jack’s Camp, adjoining Makgadikgadi National Park.


Day 9 - Maun

 
Airport Transfers

Return to Maun for outward-bound international flight.
