Explore the palace of the current King. Visit the historic University of Fort Hare, see a local art gallery, and view past political archives from the ANC, PAC, and Steve Biko. Visit Steve Bikos home, and if lucky a chance to meet Mrs Biko, his grave, and walk through a local shopping area for villagers and be enjoy more activity. Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - 2 - East London

Hotels

Fly into East London, drive to the Palace of the current King, where we will be staying for 2 Nights in this rural village.

Hotels & Lodging

Your lodging for the next 2 nights will be in a traditional style African bungalow designed in Western style with your own en suite bathroom, and Queen size bed.

Sightseeing

If he is available, you will may get a chance to meet with the King. Form this location we will wander around local villagers, experiencing local village life.

Historical and Educational Tours

As well we will visit the historic University of Fort Hare , see a local art gallery, past political archives from the ANC, PAC, and Steve Biko, as well as walking through this famous African University, where such leaders as Nelson Mandela, The present President Thabo Mbeki , and others were educated.

Food and Dining

We will have lunch at a local B and B.

Sightseeing

On the way back we will visit Dimbaza township, a historic area from South Africas past history.

Day 3 - East London

Sightseeing

3rd day we will drive to Bishop, from where you will fly out, stopping along the way to visit Steve Bikos home, and if lucky a chance to meet Mrs Biko, his grave, and walk through a local shopping area for villagers.
