Detailed Trip Description

Mozambique offers the "holiday maker" a wealth of natural treasures to discover. Along its 2,700km coastline, it has many beautiful, pristine beaches and many unspoiled reefs for scuba divers and snorklers to explore. Mozambique's marine life and wildlife is unrivaled and it is one of the few places left where whale and dolphin watching is a common pastime. For those who prefer city living, Maputo has innumerable historical, cultural and scenic spots to visit. Visitors also have the option of visiting some of the many islands off the Mozambique coast.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Maputo

 
Commercial Flights

Depart Johannesburg International Airport at 13h55 and arrive Maputo at 15h00.

Hotels

Your guide will meet you at airport and transfer you to the Catembe Gallery Hotel across the bay in Maputo.


Day 2 - Maputo

 
Relaxation

Depart from the hotel at approximately 08h00 A.M., arriving at Ponta Mamoli at 12h00 P.M. Settle into the room and have lunch, followed by afternoon activities or relaxing.


Day 3 - 5 - Mozambique

 
Adventure

Enjoy walks around the area, superb Scuba diving and snorkelling [10 reefs within 8km.], horse riding or simply relax on the beach or next to our swimming pool.


Day 6 - Maputo

 
Adventure

Allowing time for an early morning dive or ride.

Private Car Services

Then we head back to Maputo and the world renowned Polana Hotel.


Day 7 - Johannesburg

 
Sightseeing

After a leisurely breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel for
a city tour of Maputo followed by lunch at the Costa del Sol restaurant.

Airport Transfers

From here you will be taken back to your hotel to collect your belongings before heading to the airport to join your SAA flight back to Johannesburg.
