You have two full days to explore Mpumalanga. This part of the country includes South Africa’s most beautiful landscapes, including the Blyde River Canyon and Bourke’s Luck Pole holes, as well as the restored goldrush town of Pilgrim’s Rest.

This morning drive to Skukuza, where you drop off your rental car to take your place in an open safari vehicle.
You will be transferred to Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve. This afternoon depart on your first African safari returning to the lodge in time for dinner.

Take a rewarding meander through the forests and passes of the Garden Route towards Plettenberg Bay. Spend three nights in Plettenberg and explore this area.

Two days to explore the area. There’s plenty to see and do along the Garden Route, or head inland to the Little Karoo for the Ostrich capital of Oudtshoorn.

Take minor roads through the farmland and fynbos of the Overberg Region, past Africa’s southern most point, Hermanus on the "Whale Coast".
