Enjoy 16 Days European Highlights tour featuring sightseeing and many activities in France, Monaco, Italy, Vatican City, Austria (in transit), Germany, Netherlands and Belgium (in transit). Start off this European Highlights tour with an Evening Tour of Illuminations in Paris. Once you will have made your way to Burgundy to see the Chablis, Burgundy and Beaujolais vineyards (and a wine tasting in Beaujolais), you will have already seen the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, the Champs Élysées, and Notre Dame Cathedral as well as the Chateau Fontainebleau in Paris. From Burgundy pass by Avignon to visit the city and to see the Papal Palace before arriving to the French Riviera. In the Riviera you will have the opportunity to visit a French Perfumery, take a scenic drive along the Riviera coast, visit Monaco & see the Royal Palace and a Monte Carlo casino. On your way to Florence to see the Duomo, Basilica Santa Croce, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistry & Piazza della Signoria, enjoy a florentine leather craft demonstration and a walking tour with a local guide, you will be stopping in Pisa to see the Leaning Tour. You will head to Rome to see Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Colosseum & Roman Forum. Vatican City is next where you will see St. Peter's Basilica. From there, you will take a private motorboat to the historic island of Venice. Here you will see Piazza San Marco, Bridge of Sighs and the Doges' Palace, and watch a Murano glass-blowing demonstration before taking the scenic drive past vineyards, orchards & castle known as Brenner Pass to Munich. After seeing the Glockenspiel & Marienplatz you will make your way from Munich to the Rhine Valley In the Valley you will enjoy a scenic drive along the Rhine River and a visit the riverside town St. Goar, Amsterdam will be the final stop on the tour. You are invited to see the canals, gable houses and city by night. You are also invited to visit a fishing and cheese village, a cheese farm & clog maker's house and a bicycle tour of the Dutch countryside.
