Day 1 - On the Plane

Board your overnight transatlantic flight.
Day 2 - Madrid
Arrive In Madrid, Spain.

You will be met at the Madrid airport and transferred to your hotel.

Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Drink with your Tour Director.

Perhaps visit one of the museums or take an optional excursion to Segovia.

Day 3 - Madrid
Madrid - Toledo - Cordoba.
Sightseeing
This morning journey to the ancient capital of Castile, Toledo. Here, a walking tour with a local guide includes visits to the ancient Synagogue, the Church of Santo Tomé, a steel workshop, and views of the Cathedral.

Cordoba - Granada.

Costa Del Sol - Gibralter - Seville.

Seville - Lisbon, Portugal.

Your journey today is via the Huelva region, where famous Jabugo ham is produced. Later, enter the Alentejo region of Portugal with its cork forest before arriving in Lisbon, the capital. (B)

Day 11 - Salamanca
Lisbon - Fatima - Salamanca, Spain.

A scenic drive this morning via the magnificent Serra d'Aire Mountains to visit the Shrine at Fatima, scene of celebrated religious miracles. Then drive across the Spanish border to Salamanca for an orientation tour of Plaza Mayor. (B,D)

Travel through the Sierra de Guadarrama Mountains on the way back to Madrid.
