Enjoy a scenic drive this morning through the Rhine Valley. At St. Goar, embark on a Rhine River cruise with vistas of ancient castles and terraced vineyards as you sail downstream to Boppard.

Then head to Heidelberg for a walking tour of the Castle courtyards. On through the spa town Baden-Baden to see its pretty gardens and elegant casino before arriving in the Black Forest. (B,D)
Fairy tale images are evoked on your drive through the Black Forest. Visit Lake Titisee and continue to the Swiss border, viewing the mighty Rhine Falls along the way.

It’s a short drive this morning to lakeside Lucerne.
An orientation tour includes the Lion Monument and medieval Old Town. Then there’s time for independent activities.

Begin your journey this morning with a scenic drive over the Brünig Pass to the alpine resort of Interlaken.
Next, admire the mighty Jungfrau before arriving in Geneva, where an orientation and walking tour highlight the United Nations Building, Jet d'Eau Fountain and the Reformation Monument in the Old Town. (B)

Travel back into Germany alongside Chiemsee Lake, where King Ludwig II built Herrenchiemsee Castle.
