Detailed Trip Description
Enjoy 11 Days Hawaiian Discovery (Moderate) Escorted tour featuring sightseeing and many activities in Honolulu, Kailua, Kauai, Kona and Maui.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Honolulu
Arrive Honolulu.
Airport Transfer
After a traditional Aloha Welcome and fresh flower lei at the airport, you have a complimentary transfer to your hotel.
Hotel
Stay at Pacific Beach Hotel - partial oceanview.
Day 2 - Honolulu
Sightseeing
Start the day with an orientation meeting with your Tour Director. Then visit the touching Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark and USS Arizona National Memorial. Your tour continues to the King Kamehameha statue, the Punchbowl Cemetery and more, before returning to your hotel.
Food and Dining
Dinner tonight is at a popular local restaurant. (FB,D)
Day 3 - Kona
Honolulu - Kona.
Commercial Flight
Fly to Hilo on Hawaii, the Big Island.
Bus
Then board a motorcoach for a visit to Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park.
Sightseeing
After lunch at the Volcano House, stop to see Kilauea Volcano, considered the home of Pele, Hawaii’s volcano goddess.
All-Inclusive Resort
Then, continue to your resort on the beautiful Kona Coast. Stay at Royal Kona Resort - partial oceanview. (FB,L,D)
Day 4 - Kona
Sightseeing
A full day at leisure in splendid Kailua-Kona.
Sunbathing
There is plenty of time to sunbathe, shop and swim.
Snorkeling
You might want to visit Hulihee Palace, where Hawaiian royalty spent their summers, take a snorkeling excursion or just relax at the hotel. (FB)
Day 5 - Maui
Kona - Maui.
Commercial Flight
Fly to the “Magic Isle,” Maui.
Sightseeing
Upon arrival, visit Iao Valley State Park to see the interesting Iao Needle, and then continue to the historic whaling town of Lahaina.
Beach
After lunch, head for your resort on spectacular Kaanapali Beach. (FB,L)

Stay at Royal Lahaina Resort - terrace view.
Day 6-7 - Maui
Sightseeing
Enjoy two fabulous days in this tropical paradise. Relax by the pool, stroll along the beach or shop for souvenirs.
Food and Dining
One evening, experience a Hawaiian Luau including cocktails, a traditional Hawaiian feast and colorful entertainment. (FB daily,D-day 6 or 7)
Day 8 - Kauai Island
Maui - Kauai.
Commercial Flight
This morning fly to Kauai.
River, Barge or Yacht Cruise
Take a leisurely cruise along the Wailua River to the lush Fern Grotto.
Relaxation
After lunch, arrive at your beachfront resort, where the balance of the day is free. (FB,L)

Stay at Hilton Kauai Beach Resort – mountainview.
Day 9-10 - Kauai Island
Beach
Relax for two full days on the “Garden Island.” Enjoy the facilities at your resort, stroll along the beach, or pamper yourself at the spa.
Sightseeing
Other optional activities include an excursion to Waimea Canyon and an unforgettable helicopter tour to the Na Pali Coast.
Food and Dining
On your last evening on Kauai, celebrate your Hawaiian adventure with a Farewell Dinner. (FB daily,D-day 10)
Day 11 - Honolulu
Kauai - Depart Honolulu.
Airport Transfer
Return to Honolulu where you connect with your flight home. Please do not schedule your flight before 10 a.m. (FB)
