Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Las Vegas

 
Arrive Las Vegas.
Airport Transfer

Upon arrival, you have a complimentary transfer to your hotel. Your Tour Director will be available this after­noon to welcome you and answer any questions.

Tonight, meet your travelling companions at a Welcome Reception at the hotel.

Stay at Las Vegas Hilton (SF).


Day 2 - Las Vegas

 
Gambling

A full day at leisure to enjoy all this amazing city has to offer – relax by the swimming pool, attend one of the shows, or try your luck at the casinos.

Performing Arts

Perhaps take a walk along the Strip and watch a volcano erupt at the Mirage, see the musical water fountain ballet at the Bellagio, or a spectacular light show at the "Lake of Dreams" at the Wynn Hotel. (FB)


Day 3 - Sedona

 
Las Vegas - Sedona.
Bus

Leaving behind the bright lights of Las Vegas, travel along parts of historic Route 66 into the desert land­scape of central Arizona.

Sightseeing

Visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument before winding through red rock scenery to the quaint town of Sedona, an eclectic mix of Western, Native and New Age cultures.

Sightseeing

There is free time to relax, enjoy the scenery, shop or visit the town's many art galleries and boutiques.

Food and Dining

Day 4 - Grand Canyon

 
Sedona - Grand Canyon National Park.
National Parks

Journey through dramatic Oak Creek Canyon, enjoying the incredible views. Continue into the pine-covered Kaibab Plateau on the way to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.

Sightseeing

As the sun sets, delight in a stroll along the rim and watch the changing colors on the Canyon's walls. (FB)

Day 5 - Grand Canyon

 
Grand Canyon - Navajo Country - Lake Powell.
Sightseeing

There is time this morning to admire the Canyon in the morning light. Perhaps take an optional flightseeing tour for a spectacular bird's eye view of the breathtaking Grand Canyon.

Sightseeing

Then journey east into the vast Navajo Indian Reservation and stop at an historic Indian trading post with a chance to purchase native handicrafts. Then it's on to Glen Canyon Dam, which spans the Colorado River to form the deep blue waters of beautiful Lake Powell. (FB,D)

Day 6 - United States

 
Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon National Park - Zion National Park.
National Parks

Journey to Bryce Canyon National Park, an otherworldly collection of pink, orange and red sand-stone spires called "hoodoos."

Sightseeing

Walk along the rim of the amphitheater and see the magnificent formations carved by Mother Nature into a fantastic landscape of fairy tale castles, cathedrals, and a maze of trails and hideaways.

National Parks

Then, travel through the Checkerboard Mesa and past the incredible Great Arch. Arrive in Zion National Park. (FB)

Day 7 - United States

 
Zion National Park.
National Parks

A full day in the park. Explore the area carved by the Virgin River as it winds its way through a narrow green valley known as the "Garden of Eden,” surrounded by rugged granite peaks soaring towards the heavens. After a stop at the Zion Canyon Visitors Center, discover the Park at your own pace aboard the Zion Canyon Shuttle.

Food and Dining

Back at the hotel, join your fellow travelers for a Farewell Dinner. (FB,D)


Day 8 - Las Vegas

 
Zion National Park - Depart Las Vegas.
Sightseeing

Travel through the Virgin River Gorge to historic St. George, home of Utah's first Mormon temple. Entering the vast Mojave Desert, arrive back in Las Vegas.

Airport Transfer

Stops are made at Las Vegas McCarran Airport and the Las Vegas hotel for passengers extending their stay. Please do not schedule any flights before 3 p.m. (FB)
