Detailed Trip Description
This tour takes you to the Eastern Africa country of Kenya. Places to visit will include Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantation, Aberdare National Park and the world famous Masai Mara game reserve.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi
Airport Transfer
Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, briefed by a MyGoodAgent representative and drive through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantation to the cool Kenyan highlands.
Food and Dining
Arrive at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Lunch at the Camp and at 1600hrs.
Safari
Enjoy an afternoon game drive within the reserve, which has also a private sanctuary for chimpanzees and rhinos.
Camping
Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 2 - Kenya
Aberdare National Park.
Private Car Service
Depart after breakfast and proceed south to the Aberdare Country Club. The club is the base hotel for your tree hotel - The Ark.
Food and Dining
Lunch at the club.
Safari
At 1430hrs; transfer to the Ark which is located in the Aberdare National Park, with small overnight bags as most of the luggage is left at the club. The Ark has various decks and balconies for easy viewing and photography of wild game.
Hotel
Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the lodge.
Day 3 - Kenya
Lake Nakuru National Park.
Private Car Service
After breakfast, transfer back to the base hotel to retrieve rest of your luggage and drive towards the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Food and Dining
Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge / Similar in time for lunch.
Safari
At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive in park that also takes you to the shores of the lake famous for its birdlife especially flamingos that form a pink hue across the lake.
Hotel
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4 - Kenya
Masai Mara game reserve.
Private Car Service
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous Masai Mara game reserve.
Food and Dining
Arrive at Keekorok Lodge / similar in time for lunch.
Safari
At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Hotel
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5 - Kenya
Masai Mara game reserve.
Safari
Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game together with predators that feed on them.
Hotel
All meals and overnight at Keekorok Lodge / similar.
Day 6 - Nairobi
Private Car Service
Depart the Mara after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon.
Food and Dining
Lunch at the Carnivore restaurant.
Airport Transfer
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home.
