Detailed Trip Description

Combine a full immersion in remote, wild, animal rich Botswana with the full comforts of luxury camps, superb meals and an exclusive lodge. The itinerary takes you right to the heart of the very most spectacular sanctuaries of the Okavango area by private charter aircraft, in only a fraction of the time required by a land-only safari. While on the ground, you will travel in open-sided Land Cruisers in a small group of two to eight people. Your naturalist guide on the safari may be able to locate rare wild dogs that hunt in Moremi Park, and you will also have the chance to see the famed elephant and buffalo herds of the Linyati area. The full drama of Africa unfolds before you. But you observe in comfort. Hemingway would approve.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Maun

 
Arrive in Maun / Okavango Area of Moremi.
Airport Transfer

A scenic flight from Maun takes you into Moremi, where you are met by your guide for a short transfer to your pre-erected secluded camp.

Food and Dining

A light lunch is included.

Safari

After a sunset game drive and a delicious three course dinner, the sounds of the African night are enjoyed. Overnight in your comfortable mobile safari.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner


Day 2 - Okavango

 
Okavango Area of Moremi.
Sightseeing

Explore the channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta on a Mokoro excursion with lunch being enjoyed on a nearby island.

Make your way back to camp during an afternoon game drive, taking in the changing colors of an African sunset.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner


Day 3-4 - Khwai River Lodge

 
Khwai Area of Moremi.
Safari

After breakfast, your safari crew will expertly move your exclusive camp to the Khwai flood plains, while you continue to explore the park. Meals: 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners


Day 5-6 - Botswana

 
Moremi to Selinda / Linyanti.
Safari

An early morning game drive takes you en-route to meet your charter flight.

Private Jet

Take your charter flight.

Adventure

Move up north into the remote and pristine wilderness of the Selinda Spill Way. This area is famous for its wild dogs and excellent lion and buffalo interaction.

Hotel

Overnight at a luxury lodge. Meals: 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners


Day 7-8 - Livingstone

 
Linyanti to Livingstone Falls.
Private Jet

After breakfast, a scenic flight transfers you to Livingstone where you are treated to the surroundings of this diverse area.

Safari

Be captivated by the majestic Victoria Falls, experience the cultural heritage of the African people and a game drive.

Hotel

Overnight at lodge. Meals: 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners


Day 9 - Livingstone

 
Livingstone - Onward.
Sightseeing

On your last morning you still have time to watch the spectacular sunrise, enjoy a hearty breakfast and exchange contact details with the friends you have made during this memorable safari.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Meals: Breakfast
