Pass through five countries, from the Netherlands to Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. Inclusive shore excursions take in seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the historic districts of Budapest, Vienna, and Bamberg; the medieval landscapes of the Danube's Wachau Valley and the Rhine Valley; plus Schönbrunn Palace and Köln Cathedral. Take a canal boat cruise in Amsterdam, see paintings by the Dutch Masters, and attend an Imperial evening featuring dinner and Viennese music in Vienna.

Day 1 - Amsterdam, Netherlands

 
Arrive Amsterdam.

Tour begins in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Welcome to Amsterdam! A transfer is included from Amsterdam’s Airport to the ship. Embark anytime after 4:00 PM aboard MS Swiss Emerald or MS Swiss Sapphire. Meals D

Sea Cruises

MS Swiss Sapphire is newly built for 2008! MS Swiss Emerald joined our tour fleet in 2006 offering personal service to all 59 outside facing cabins. Each cabin comes with a plasma TV, mini-bar, adjustable air conditioning, and a private bathroom. The ship includes two whirlpools, a piano, wireless internet, a steam room, and a library.


Day 2 - 14 - At Sea

 
Amsterdam to Budapest by Riverboat.

A private Imperial Viennese evening at a traditional palace in Vienna featuring dinner and Viennese music.

Sightseeing

In Amsterdam, a luncheon canal boat cruise and a tour of the famed Rijksmuseum.
