Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Copenhagen

 
Airport Transfers

Arrive in Copenhagen and transfer to your city-center hotel.

Sightseeing

Spend the day relaxing and strolling the Strøget—the pedestrian shopping street—to experience the true flavor of the Danish people. We suggest that you take a canal tour weaving through areas of the old city and many of the most famous sights. Be sure to use your 24-hour Copenhagen City Card for free or reduced admission.

Day 2 - Copenhagen

 
Sightseeing

After tasting the first of many wonderful Danish breakfasts, we recommend you use your City Card to take a guided sight-seeing tour of the city. Visit The Little Mermaid, Royal Palace Amalienborg, Christianborg and the newly designed Opera House. Take the afternoon to explore the art museum and enjoy dinner in picturesque Nyhavn!

Day 3 - Odense

 
Copenhagen – Odense.
Trains

Take a taxi on your own to the rail station to meet the train to Odense, home of the famous Danish writer, Hans Christian Andersen.

Day 4 - Copenhagen

 
Odense – Copenhagen.
Trains

Enjoy the morning in Odense before transferring to the rail station to meet your early-afternoon train to Copenhagen.

Ferries

Make your way to the dock upon your arrival. The overnight DFDS ferry to Oslo departs at 5:00 p.m.; boarding begins at 3:00 p.m. Be sure to be on the observation deck when the ship departs Copenhagen for a panoramic view of the city.

Shopping

Enjoy a wonderful dinner and breakfast buffet as well as duty-free shopping and nightly entertainment. Accommodations: DFDS, standard outside cabin, D, B

Sightseeing

Essential sights not to be missed: Amalienborg and Rosenborg palaces, Gefion Fountain, The Little Mermaid, Christiansborg Palace (Danish Parliament buildings), Nyhavn Harbor, Tivoli Gardens, Strøget, the pedestrian shopping street, Carlsberg Glyptotek, the planetarium, National Museum.
