Day 1 - St. Petersburg

 
Arrival to St.-Petersburg.

Day 2 - At Sea

The major city highlights to be seen during the three hour tour include visits to St. Isaac's Cathedral, the forth highest cathedral in the world, with its breathtaking design and the Peter & Paul Fortress, the first building in the city, which remains a gorgeous monument to architecture.

Day 3 - At Sea

 
Excursion to Hermitage Museum.
Museums

One of the major museums in the world. Its collection consists of nearly three million art treasures. Exhibits are displayed in the world famous Winter palace as well as the Small, Old and New Hermitages.

Day 4 - At Sea

Green Stop. In the village there are some structures built according to the Russian fine traditions of wooden architecture. Village dwellers meet the guests and organize something special for them. There is a museum of Russian Vodka in the Remeslennaya Sloboda, where tourists can get acquainted with the history of Russian vodka industry. You will be walking along the picturesque woods.


Day 5 - At Sea

 
Kizhi.

This morning Kizhi appears at your view. Kizhi Island is located at the northern end of Lake Onega. It is well known for its open-air Museum of Architecture, which has actually been brought together from various areas of the country and restored to form a glimpse of the past. The highlight of the museum is the Transfiguration Church with its stunning 22 wooden domes, constructed without the use of a single nail. Our sightseeing program also includes a walking tour of the State Preserve and the opportunity to experience Russian culture first hand.

Day 6 - At Sea

 
Goritsy.

Goritsy - As we continue our journey, you will enjoy breathtaking scenery as you sail along the White Lake and through the Volga-Baltic Canal. Political prisoners during Stalin's regime constructed this canal.

When you arrive in Goritsy, you will visit the historic Kiril-Beloserskiy Men's Monastery founded in 1397. Here you will discover its rich history and magnificent architecture.

Day 7 - At Sea

 
Uglich.

This morning you will arrive to Uglich.

This is a beautiful small town. The name Uglich is derived from the word "ugol", which means corner, as in the corner where the river turns. The view from the Volga River is lovely, with both the Cathedrals of the Resurrection and St. John's Church on the horizon. In spite of its beauty, the town has a sometimes violent history. In 1591, Ivan the Terrible's son, Tsarevich Dimitry, was murdered here. On your walking tour, you will explore the Church of St. Dmitry-on-the-Blood, built on the spot where his body was found.

Day 8 - At Sea

 
Arrival to Moscow.

We will take you for an interesting city tour where you will watch the main streets, squares and places of interest, including the always lively and vivacious Tverskaya Street, the former headquarters of the KGB, the Bolshoy Theatre, the Russian White House, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Red Square, the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed and other major city attractions.

Day 9 - Moscow

Today we will start a day with excursion to the Moscow Kremlin and Kremlin Cathedrals - the historical center of Moscow. The Kremlin has always been perceived as a symbol of power and might of the Russian land. Each era of the Russian history left its architectural mark on the Kremlin. Within the Kremlin walls there are many architectural monuments, churches, cathedrals, museums. You will spend all day discovering Moscow Kremlin with one of our professional guides.
