Detailed Trip Description
A safari for those who don’t like to drive for long. An 8 days safari with 5 star accommodation and diverse landscapes and wildlife! Flights are used to eliminate lengthy travel time between game parks. A night in Nairobi followed by a flight to Amboseli famous for its herds of elephants. Fly on via Nairobi to the northern frontier and the semi-desert of Samburu where you see the unique northern species such as Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffes, Somali ostrich and more. Fly across the Great Rift Valley to Kenya’s most favoured game reserve, Masai Mara. The safari ends in Nairobi.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi
Welcome to Nairobi.
Airport Transfer
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – Nairobi, you will be met and assisted. Transfer to your hotel in Nairobi.
Relaxation
Rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight at Norfolk Hotel.
Day 2 - Amboseli
Commercial Flight
After breakfast you will be transferred to Wilson Airport to catch your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park situated at the foothills of the highest mountain in Africa - Mount Kilimanjaro.
Safari
Game drive en route to your camp. Afternoon game drive after lunch.
Hotel
Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge (B,L,D).
Day 3 - Amboseli
Safari
Breakfast at your lodge. Morning and afternoon game drives.
Hotel
Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge (B,L,D).
Day 4 - Samburu
Commercial Flight
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Samburu via Wilson Airport-Nairobi.
Safari
Samburu is Kenya’s rugged north eastern region. Lunch at your club. Afternoon game drive to see Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, elephant and other game.
Camping
Overnight at Samburu Intrepids Camp (B,L,D).
Day 5 - Samburu
Safari
Breakfast at your camp. Morning and afternoon game drives in this rugged wilderness in search of wildlife.

Day 6 - Kenya
Masai Mara.
Commercial Flight
Transfer to Samburu Airstrip to catch your scheduled flight to Masai Mara.
Safari
Red-clad, with spear Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Afternoon game drive in the Mara, famous for the Wildebeest and Zebra migration and its abundance of wildlife.
Camping
Overnight at Kichwa Tembo Camp (B,L,D).
Day 7 - Kenya
Masai Mara.
Safari
Morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. Blessed with a permanent water supply, Masai Mara has a permanent population of plains game. The “big five” – elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino are quite common.
Ballooning
Today you may opt for an early morning balloon excursion to experience the panoramic Mara from a birds-eye view (optional and not included in the price).
Camping
Overnight at Kichwa Tembo Camp (B,L,D).
Day 8 - Nairobi
Commercial Flight
Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi.
Airport Transfer
Transfer from Wilson Airport to Norfolk Hotel for your dayrooms.
Food and Dining
A farewell dinner at Carnivore restaurant.
Airport Transfer
Transfer to JKI Airport for your onward flight.
