Detailed Trip Description
Ghana is one of the best places in the world to tour. There are many places to see and things to do, and Ghanaians are known as some of the friendliest people in the world.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Accra
Hotel
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be driven to your hotel for check-in and overnight.
Day 2 - Ghana
Sightseeing
You will visit the Volta region of Ghana today. Places to visit will include Mountain Afdjato. After conquering the mountain, we proceed to Wli fall the highest fall in West Africa.
Hotel
After visiting some nearby fall, we proceed to Hohoe for overnight.
Day 3 - Accra
Sightseeing
After breakfast we proceed to Amezofe a town located on Gemi Mountain, Ghana’s second highest mountain. We also visit the breathtaking waterfall. Returning to Accra, we proceed to visit Tafi Monkey sanctuary retuning late afternoon.

Day 4 - Ghana
National Parks
We depart today for the Central Region of Ghana. Our first place of visit will be Kakum National Park. This park is home to various species of animals, birds and trees. after a tour of the forest and a walk on the canopy, we proceed to visit the Cape Coast and Elmina Castle.

Overnight at Elmina beach resort.
Day 5 - Ashanti
Sightseeing
We depart for the Ashanti region of Ghana. First place to visit includes Manhyia palace. After a tour of the musuem, we visit the Okomfo Anokye sword site.
Hotel
After a round tour of the city, we proceed to hotel for overnight.
Day 6 - 7 - Ghana
Sightseeing
Today we will visit the nearby cities of Bonwire where Kente is weaved, Pankrunu for Pottery, Ahwiaa for woodcarvings, Ntonsu for Adinkra production, and Ampabame Krofrom for brass Smith.
Hotel
We return late afternoon for overnight.
Day 8 - Tamale
Sightseeing
We proceed to the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. We first visit Boabeng Fiema Monkey sanctuary a town where monkeys live with Human beings. We later proceed to Kintampo falls.
Hotel
The days tour ends at Tamale the capital of the northern region of Ghana for overnight.
Day 9 - Tamale
Sightseeing
After breakfast, we will take a city tour of Tamale.
Safari
Pproceed to Mole National Park arriving late afternoon for an evening safari.
Hotel
Overnight at Mole.
Day 10 - Bolgatanga
Sightseeing
After a morning safari, we proceed to Bolgatanga the Capital of the Upper East region.
Hotel
Depending on our arrival time, we either spend the night at Bolgatanga or Navrongo.
Day 11 - Bolgatanga
Sightseeing
Today we will visit Paga crocodile Pond. This is the only pond in the world where the crocodiles are found to be harmless to human beings. You may take a memorable picture seating on a crocodile.
Hotel
Returning from Paga,we proceed to Wa the capital of the Upper East of Ghana for overnight.
Day 12 - Sunyani
Sightseeing
We will visit Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary on the black volta. Returning,we will visit a bat sanctuary, a sacred royal python sanctuary at Jefiri. Our journey back to Accra will take a whole day.
Hotel
Depending on the time we leave Wa, we either spend the night in Sunyani or Kumasi.
Day 13 - Accra
Museums
We will enjoy a city tour of Accra. Places to visit will include Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and museum, the art center where you will do some shopping of Some Ghanaian souvenirs.
Relaxation
The evening will be at leisure.
Day 14 - Accra
Beach
Today will be a free day for relaxation and parking before your flight back home. Alternatively, you could spend the day at the beach relaxing before flying back home.
Airport Transfer
Fly back home.
