Day 1 - Sitka, Alaska, United States

 
Arrive in beautiful Sitka by the sea, in Southeast Alaska.
Settle in at a World-Class Lodge on a Private Island

Sitka Sound is one of the most scenic locations in Southeast Alaska, and offers the best fishing grounds for both salmon and halibut. But just because you’re embarking on an adventure in the Alaska wilderness doesn’t mean you have to rough it.
At the Talon Lodge, the main lodge building features a comfortable lounge area and a spacious deck with plenty of space to relax at the end of the day. The main lodge is equipped with a full gourmet kitchen, just perfect to showcase the talents of visiting guest chefs.

Days 2 and 3 - Sitka, Alaska, United States

Fishing

The waters around Sitka are some of the finest fishing areas in Alaska, and Talon Lodge has some of the most experienced Captains that fish the waters of Sitka Sound. They are waiting to show lodge guests the most amazing fishing of their lives.
The lodge boasts a fleet of some of the largest fishing boats in Southeast Alaska. The largest is a 39' Sea Ray Sport Fishing Sedan, and the foundation of the fleet are 32' customized Sea Sport Catamarans. These are full walk-around fishing boats that are fast getting to the fishing grounds.
The freshwater fly-in fishing trips feature native steelhead in the spring, native rainbows and cutthroats throughout the summer, and a variety of wild Alaska Salmon.

Depending on your dates of travel, enjoy hosted dinners with visiting Chef Sam Choy, "Hunt Fish Cook" television Chef Scott Leysath, or a hosted dinner with the winemaker from the Bacio Divino Winery.
The lodge emphasizes fine food. Their gourmet cuisine starts with a fusion of high standards, exceptional ingredients and creativity. The lodge has a team of culinary experts providing a true gourmet dining experience in the wilderness.
When you’re a guest at the lodge all of your meals are included, which means you’ll enjoy a wide range of specialties at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfasts will leave you well prepared to tackle the day, and you’ll enjoy a unique lunch while you’re out on the Sound. Then, when you return from a full day of excellent fishing, you’ll be welcomed back to the lodge for a gourmet dinner. Local specialties include grilled salmon or crab stuffed halibut, paired with fine wines.
