Airport Transfers

Tour departs: Calgary Airport at 3:00 PM. Guests spending the previous night in Calgary will be picked up at The Fairmont Palliser at 12:45 PM, then Delta Bow Valley or The Westin Calgary between 1:00 PM and 1:10 PM. Cross the last few miles of Canadian prairie to Kananaskis country, a portion of the Rocky Mountain foothills and front ranges where the alpine scenery is a feast for the eyes!

Sightseeing

See three of the most beautiful lakes in North America on a journey into the Canadian Rockies. Travel across the Continental Divide through Kicking Horse Pass to exquisite Emerald Lake. See the Spiral Tunnels and the Natural Bridge before visiting crystal-clear Moraine Lake, conditions permitting; the lake is nestled in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Your final destination is Lake Louise, located at the foot of Victoria Glacier – in spring there often is late snow framing the lake with lofty snowbound peaks.

National Parks

Your morning is at leisure for nature walks to experience some of the most breathtaking scenery in North America. After lunch, begin the amazing journey along the Icefields Parkway to Jasper National Park. This stretch of highway is considered by many to be the most spectacular in the Canadian national parks system, commanding a panoramic view of majestic mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, springtime ice falls, and snowfields. Mountain goats, elk, deer, and bighorn sheep are most likely to be seen in the months of May, September and October.

Return to Banff National Park, crown jewel of the Rockies. Retrace your route along the Icefields Parkway, and see the park from different vantage points. View Athabasca Falls and the two peaks framing Athabasca Glacier; this glacier flows from the Columbia Icefield, whose waters flow into the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic oceans.

Adventure

Take a memorable ride on the Ice Explorer along the surface of the glacier, then travel on to The Fairmont Banff Springs, an alpine resort styled after a Scottish castle. Meals BLD
