Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Barcelona

Welcome to Barcelona Spain!

Airport Transfer

Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy an evening stroll around the city centre and a welcome dinner where we will review your tour itinerary. Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 2 - Barcelona

Visit Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas & Port area. Then to Sagrada Familia & Parc Güell.

Visit the Gothic Quarter, the world-famous Las Ramblas and the maremagnum port area. In the afternoon, visit the Sagrada Familia church and spend some time wandering through Parc Güell. Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 3 - Montserrat

Visit Montserrate, Santa Cova & Cava/Wine Country.

Wine

Morning trip to Montserrat, including a visit to the Monastery and the Santa Cova. In the afternoon take a trip into the Wine & Cava country to visit a winery and enjoy some Cava (Spanish sparkling wine). Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 4 - Spain

Visit Girona & La Seu d'Urgell

This morning, head up to Girona and walk around the old Roman walls and the 11th century Cathedral. After lunch, head over to the town of La Seu d'Urgell, one of the most important Catalonian towns in the Middle Ages, famous for its spectacular Romanesque churches and Cathedral. Overnight La Seu d'Urgell.

Day 5 - Spain

Visit Ordesa National Park in the Pyrenees (Spain)

Take a trip across to the natural park of Ordesa National Park and enjoy the day walking the trails. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Overnight in Ordesa.

Day 6 - Pamplona

Visit Pamplona

Moving across the country, we head toward the famous town of Pamplona, where the famous "Running of the Bulls" takes place. Stop in one of the picturesque towns along the way for lunch. Overnight in Pamplona.

Day 7 - San Sebastian

Visit San Sebastian & Bilboa

Today, head up the coast toward the border town of San Sebastian and enjoy the afternoon in this charming fishing town. Late evening arrival in Bilboa with overnight.

Day 8 - Bilbao

Tour Bilboa

Morning tour of Bilbao, including the Guggenheim Museum. Overnight in Bilbao.

Day 9 - Barcelona

Tour the Rioja Region, including Santa Maria la Real, Najera & arrive in Barcelona

Wine

Enjoy the day in the Rioja, visiting the wineries and tasting one of the best wines in Spain and after enjoying the spectacular gastronomy of the region, we will head up to Najera, to visit Santa Maria la Real Monastery and it's medieval streets. Late evening arrival in Barcelona with an overnight.

Day 10 - Barcelona

Transfer to Barcelona airport

Airport Transfer

Transfer to Barcelona airport for return flight to the U.S.
