Drive south from Jerusalem towards the Dead Sea which is the lowest point believed on this earth.On your way you will stop at Massada where you will travel by cable car your climb the roman ramps to the top. This is an ancient fortress where the Jews made their last stand before committing suicide rather than fall into the hands of the Romans in 73AD.
Visit Qumran to visit the site of where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found . Overnight Jerusalem
