Depart from the U.S.A. for South Africa
Arrival in Johannesburg , and clear customs, collect luggage where you will be transferred to the Irene Country Lodge for overnight on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. The lodge has some tranquil surroundings with a private lake, and the birdlife is very good around this country style hotel.
Depart from the lodge after breakfast for the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
On arrival, clear customs, collect luggage and Tours representative will meet you at Victoria Falls airport.
Travel into the Vic Falls town, and on to the Falls, for a guided tour including the famous Livingstone Baobab tree, the viewpoints of the Falls and the rain forests surrounding them. These world famous falls are protected in a very natural state within the Victoria Falls National park.
Depart via road transfer to the Botswana border, and after clearing customs, travel the short distance to Chobe National Park, and check in at the Chobe Game Lodge for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis, with all meals and 2 safari activities included. These are usually boating or landrover excursions within Chobe National Park and also along the banks of the Chobe River.
Full day at Chobe Game Lodge with activities and meals included.

Transfer to the Kasane airport for a charter flight to Camp Moremi / Xugana Island lodge.
The next 4 nights will spent at these 2 camps, for 2 nights each, with all meals included, and safari activities. These include dugout mokoros (non-motorized wooden boats), landrovers and motorized boats for safari activities. Moremi and Xugana offer the best of the Okavango experience with water and land based camps.
Full days at the camps as per the daily programme, the transfer between the camps is included.
After morning activity and breakfast , transfer from the camp to Maun, Botswana, and take a charter flight from Maun airport to Walvis Bay, Namibia.
On arrival clear customs and collect luggage and you will be transferred to the seaside town of Swakopmund. Overnight at the Swakopmund Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. This German inspired town has many restaurants, coffee shops and local guest houses where meals can be enjoyed.
Depart the hotel for a full day excursion to Sandwich Harbour. This is an adrenalin drive over the dunes in a 4 x 4 vehicle with a very experienced driver and guide! The tour takes you to Bird Island, just south of Longbeach and the Walvis Bay lagoon, which is an internationally recognized wetland and home to thousands of resident and migrant birds. The approach to Sandwich Harbour weaves through salt flats, dunes and towering sand mountains, with the Atlantic Ocean crashing along the coastline. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the dunes. Bird counts at Sandwich Harbour have recorded 200 000 birds and 34 species. This is one of the most scenically beautiful areas of Namibia.
Return to Swakopmund at about 5pm. Overnight at the Swakopmund Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
Depart the hotel for a full day excursion to Spitzkoppe. This is Namibia’s “ Matterhorn” rising 1784 metres above sea level. The waterholes in the mountain attract a large number of birds such as the Herero Chat, Carp’s Tit, Bradfields Swift, Monteirs Hornbill and the White Tailed Shrike. Other species occurring here include the Doublebanded Courser, Dusky Sunbird, Rosefaced Lovebird, Blackheaded Canary and the Mountain Chat. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Spitzkoppe and travel back along the road through the Namib Desert to the coastal resort of Hentie’s Bay, and return to Swakopmund.

Depart the hotel for a full day excursion to the Namib Desert and the Cape Cross Seal colony . In 1486, Diego Cao landed on the coast of Namibia at Cape Cross. He erected a cross in honour of King John 1 of Portugal. Today a replica of the cross can be seen at Cape Cross, and it is here on the beaches that one of the largest seal breeding colonies in Southern Africa is located. Depending on the season, up to 300 000 seals make this area their home. Continue back into Swakopmund for a lunch stop ( own account) and in the afternoon take a trip into the Namib Desert to look for the famous Welwitchia Plant. Travel through the Moon Landscape where overlaying levels of soft earth have roded over millions of years to create this eerie landscape, and see the Welwitchia Plant, recorded by a botanist in 1859 as “the world’s strangest plants”. This plant is endemic to the Namib desert and found nowhere else in the world.
