After breakfast, we depart for one of the most awe-inspiring drives in the world, up the Icefields Parkway to Jasper, stopping at Lake Louise and Peyto Lake en route. This morning we depart for magnificent Maligne Canyon and the number one highlight for years for all of our guests, Maligne Lake with the unbelievably scenic boat cruise to Spirit Island, one of the most photographed sights in the Rockies for every good reason. After Maligne Lake, a special luncheon alongside the rushing Athabasca River with the Rockies as a backdrop. The evening is at leisure to enjoy this quaint village. B,L
All Aboard! We board the Rocky Mountaineer this morning at Jasper and immediately plunge into the heart of the Rockies, passing Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies, traveling through the Rocky Mountain Trench and past the Cariboo Mountain Range. Many travelers consider this the most scenic of all of the rail routes through the Canadian Rockies and the entire day is spent traveling west through fantastic scenery over the Canadian National Railway with an evening arrival in Quesnel, B.C. where we stay the night. Another day of a spectacular vistas including the Fraser River, the haunting goldfields of the Cariboo Plateau, Anderson and Seton Lakes before our evening arrival in the resort village of Whistler where splendid rooms await at the acclaimed Hilton Whistler Resort. B,L

All day to enjoy Vancouver and we have included a complete city tour today thatl takes in Queen Elizabeth Park and leaves plenty of free time for exploring historic Gastown, Robson Street or famed Stanley Park
Another full day to enjoy this marvelous city since we do not leave for the pier and the Norwegian Sun until late this afternoon. Once onboard, over ten restaurants and eleven lounges beckon and you may dine when you like, with whom you like, in the restaurant of your choice since the entire ship is casual. At 5:30pm, the whistle blows and we set sail.
Scenic cruising the Inside Passage north to Alaska and tonight, our welcome aboard cocktail party in the Observation Lounge, martinis and bald eagles and chocolate colored moose begin a nice start to an evening that allows dinner in a Teppanyaki Restaurant, Steakhouse or Italian trattoria.
Quaint Ketchikan, the gateway to incredible Misty Fjord, is our port of call today.
Juneau greets us today, the highlight being nearby Mendanhall Glacier, a 'must-see' sight and upon departure we sail into Endicott Arm, you will want your camera ready. Tonight, another fun evening onboard with a choice of 11 restaurants to choose from, followed by cabaret, the casino or the piano bar.
All day cruising the Inside Passage south with time to enjoy lunch with new found friends, visit the superb spa, see a movie, or curl up with a good book as some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere slides past.
Charming and very British Victoria is our port of call today and we have included, with our compliments a visit to Victoria's most acclaimed site, wonderful Butchart Gardens, possibly the finest flower display in the world. There is time after Butchart for downtown including the Parliament Buildings or the remarkable Royal British Columbia Museum.
A final day, off the coast of Oregon to enjoy sea travel at its best and later tonight, our farewell dinner in the elegant Le Bistro.
There is no finer way to arrive in San Francisco than by ship, sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge, past Alcatraz and docking in the shadow of Telegraph Hill and this is the perfect end to our holiday. Guests may extend their stay in San Francisco or travel home today by train or air. B
